We have an extremely loyal fan-base…to the old Flats. Being an Orlando-based company since 1995, a good chunk of our customers have eaten at Tijuana Flats for many years, and been through many menu changes. And they make sure to let us know. Constant “bring back this” and “why did you get rid of this” sprinkle our social media comments, and for the holidays, we wanted to give them a gift, the cult classic they had all been asking for: TOSTADAS. With a side of Sopapilla chips and a Horchata, this is the perfect Mexican Christmas meal. Add in some festive flare and it’s giving “Feliz Navidad!”
Gift cards are also a push during the holidays, and we like to give people a little bit of an incentive to purchase them as stocking stuffers with $5 in Bonus Bucks.
Catering is a big holiday-seller too, so we always make sure to include reminders that Tijuana Flats does have catering options and it’s a huge hit for those company holiday parties. With multiple messaging points, everything needed to be cohesive but not redundant, and alternating primary colors made this easy-peasy.
